Sam Plourd's debut album Butterfly Kisses is named after the single that started it all. Like her premiere release, this album encapsulates her genuine and joyful energy. Exploring themes of growth, change, heartbreak, and healing, Sam takes the listener through the beginnings, ends, and in-betweens of all kinds of relationships: romantic, platonic, and most importantly, the relationship one has with themselves. Written over the course of 6 years, it is a true coming-of-age collection containing an eclectic mix of sounds, perspectives, and emotions we can all relate to. Butterfly Kisses represents Sam's musical journey so far, but it is just the beginning.
